Why is verification required?
Verification helps keep our platform secure and is required as part of our compliance with regulatory obligations. We’ll check your details to ensure everything matches up. We may ask you to upload documents including proof of identity and proof of address.
Can my businesses use OFX for free?
Yes, our Business plan is free for up to three users. There are no start-up or maintenance costs. Or you can enjoy more features in our paid Business Plus plan with a 30-day free trial. View our pricing plan here.
How long will it take to get my account approved?
It’s easy to get approved on OFX and it will take roughly 1-2 business days from the date you register, assuming all documents are in order. We’re here to help you, so contact us if you need support.
Can I connect a Xero account to an OFX Business Account?
Yes. You can easily connect Xero to an OFX Business Account with the following steps:
- Log in to your OFX Business Account
- Click on “Setup” from the left sidebar menu
- Click on “Integrations” from the dropdown menu
- Click toggle to connect to Xero
- Read the acknowledgment and confirm
- Follow the on-screen instructions to authorise the integration with Xero
Is the Business Account compatible with other accounting software?
Yes. You can export data from our Business Account as a CSV file and import it into your accounting platform. We’re working on integrating other accounting packages with our platform, which will be available soon.

The introductory 0.45% FX Margin is available to new Australian-based business clients who register under OzForex from Jun 12 2024 to Aug 30 2024 and enter into foreign exchange transactions for AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, HKD, NZD, SGD and USD by this date. These clients are either using: (i) existing services under our OFX Terms and Conditions; or (ii) our new OFX Australia Business Platform under our OFX General Terms and Conditions (Business) save for some exclusions. Namely; that the 0.45.% FX Margin is not available to (a) existing business clients of OzForex; (b) online sellers under our Global Currency Account Terms of service; (c) clients who have been referred to OFX by one of our alliance or enterprise partners; or (d) card transactions under our OFX Card Agreement (Business). OFX offers customised rates for high-value transfers and business clients under our existing services and our new platform. The offer is only for a limited time only. OFX reserves the right to withdraw the offer at any time. All transactions are governed by the OFX Terms and Conditions or OFX General Terms and Conditions (Business) which includes information in relation to Margin which is how we make our money.
