What’s the difference between the OFX personal and the OFX Business Account?
The OFX personal account is a pure FX account that allows you to send money to over 170 countries with 50+ currencies.
The OFX Business Account is a virtual business transaction account that enables you to hold funds in different currencies and make and receive payments for your business. It is not a bank account. All our services are serviced through our network and our partners.
How to get started with an OFX Business Account?

- Start your personal registration online or via the OFX app

Why is verification required?
Verification helps keep our platform secure and is required as part of our compliance with regulatory obligations. We’ll check your details to ensure everything matches up. We may ask you to upload documents including proof of identity and proof of address.
How long will it take to get approved?
It’s easy to get approved on OFX and it will take roughly 1-2 business days from the date you register, assuming all documents are in order. We’re here to help you, so contact us if you need support.
Can my business use the OFX Business Account for free?

The introductory 0.45% FX Margin offer is available to new Australian-based business clients who have registered under OzForex Limited from Jun 12 2024 to Nov 30 2024 but have not dealt and enter into foreign exchange transactions for AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, HKD, NZD, SGD and USD only by this date. These clients are either using: (i) existing services under our OFX Terms and Conditions; or (ii) our new OFX Australia Business Platform under our OFX General Terms and Conditions (Business) save for some exclusions. Namely; that the 0.45.% FX Margin is not available to (a) business clients of OzForex who have dealt; (b) online sellers under our Global Currency Account Terms of service; (c) clients who have been referred to OFX by one of our alliance or enterprise partners; or (d) card transactions under our OFX Card Agreement (Business). OFX offers customised rates for high-value transfers and business clients under our existing services and our new platform. The offer is for a limited time only. OFX reserves the right to withdraw the offer at any time. All transactions are governed by the OFX Terms and Conditions or OFX General Terms and Conditions (Business) which includes information in relation to Margin which is how we make our money.
