OFX Mobile App

At OFX, we value your privacy and have made it easy for you to request the deletion of an account created through an OFX app if you wish.

Here’s how you can do it. 

Using the app:

1. Log in to the app.

2. Go to ‘Settings’.

3. Select ‘Account deletion’ to request the closure of your account.

Email us at customer.service@ofx.com with details of your request.

Once you request to delete your account, we will process your request and close your account with OFX.

If we are required to retain data associated with your OFX account for a certain period due to legal or other legitimate reasons, we will let you know via email when we confirm your account is closed.

We have an OFX mobile app for Apple and Android users.

To ensure you are getting the best possible security, functionality and experience, we periodically update our App. From 1 September 2023, we no longer support mobile app versions older than 3.7.1.

This means that prior to 1 September, we recommend you update the OFX mobile app.

The currently supported version of the OFX App is 3.7.2 or higher. OFX will continue to support those using version 3.7.1 but if you are using version 3.7.0 (or an even earlier version) this will no longer be supported.

How to check your OFX Mobile App version:

On an iPhone:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on General
  3. Click on iPhone Storage
  4. Click on OFX App to view the version number

On an Android:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on Apps
  3. Click on OFX App to view the version number

To support the OFX Mobile App, your smartphone needs to be using one of the below operating software versions:

  • iOS: 11 or higher
  • Android: 8.1 or higher

How to check your smartphone’s operating system:

On an iPhone:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on General
  3. Click on About
  4. Click on Version to view which operating system your smartphone is running

On an Android:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Click on About Phone
  3. Click on Android Version to view which operating system your smartphone is running

Can’t update your OFX mobile app?

Love your phone but its operating software is too old to support the current app version? That’s ok. Our website is mobile-friendly, so you can log in to your account using your browser (E.g. Safari, Chrome, etc…) on your mobile or tablet devices.

If you have difficulty using the OFX Mobile App, please email customer.service@ofx.com with the following details, so one of our OFXperts can help you:

  • The device you are using to access the OFX Mobile App
  • What version of the OFX Mobile App is downloaded on your device
  • A screenshot of the issue

Please note: you must ensure your OFX Mobile App is updated to use the most recent version. From 1 September 2023, we no longer support mobile app versions older than 3.7.1.
